    Review the proposed terms

04 / COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you share anything

Do we need to send data to check fit?

No. The initial conversation only requires general company information and categories of records. Keep files, customer information, and credentials out of your inquiry.

Who handles licensing and data transfer?

We facilitate an introduction to the optimal data purchasers based on your company characteristics. The licensing provider then evaluates your company and works directly with your authorized team on any agreement or transfer.

What might our company be paid?

Any offer depends on the provider’s review of the scope, quality, and usefulness of your data and the rights your company can grant.

How does Sutherland get paid?

Sutherland operates as an independent broker. A licensing provider may pay us a referral fee if your company completes a qualifying deal.

05 / INITIAL FIT CHECK

Could your company be a fit?

Check the baseline criteria before speaking with a licensing provider.

We use your answers and work email to review your inquiry and follow up about data licensing.
